B (DR)-General: Post-graduation in any discipline or equivalent technical or professional qualification with at least 55% marks (pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD applicants) in the total of all semesters or years, or graduation in any discipline or equivalent technical or professional qualification with at least 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD applicants).

Essential:
a) An MA or MSc in Economics, or an MA or MSc in courses like Quantitative Economics, Mathematical Economics, Applied Economics, Econometrics, Financial Economics, Business Economics, Agricultural Economics, Industrial Economics, Development Economics, and International Economics (where "Economics" is the primary component* of the curriculum/syllabus).
b) MA/MSc in Finance or MA/MSc in courses like Quantitative Finance, Mathematical Finance, Quantitative Techniques, International Finance, Business Finance, Banking and Trade Finance, International and Trade Finance, Corporate Finance, Project and Infrastructure Finance, and Agri Business Finance (where "Finance" is the principal constituent* of the curriculum/syllabus).

b) A master's degree from an accredited Indian or foreign university or institute that has been approved or recognized by the government, UGC, or AICTE, with a minimum of 55% of the possible points across all semesters or years, or an equivalent grade or CGPA in data science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, big data analytics, or any other related branches of these fields.

Interviews and online/written examinations (WE) will be used for selection. The exam consists of three papers. Paper I: Statistical Objective Type, and Paper II and III: Descriptive Type.

Interviews and online/written examinations (WE) will be used for selection. The exam consists of four papers. Paper I: Objective Type (on Economics) and Paper II: Descriptive Type (on English) will be included in Phase I of the test. It will include assessments of:
i. Awareness in general
ii. English language proficiency, iii. aptitude for math, and iv. reasoning
Candidates must receive the minimum scores required by the Board, both individually for each test and collectively. Candidates will be shortlisted for Phase-II of the exam based on the total marks earned in Phase-I if they receive the minimum scores required for each test individually.
