The official announcement of the Dibrugarh University Admission Test (DUAT) 2026 for admission to the university's postgraduate academic programs for the 2026–2027 academic year has been made by Dibrugarh University. Students can use this test to either laterally enter the Fourth Year (7th Semester) of the Five-Year Integrated Post Graduate Program (FYIPGP) or immediately enroll in one of Dibrugarh University's several two-year postgraduate programs.
The Dibrugarh University Post Graduate Entrance Test (DUPGET) was the previous name for this admission exam. This PG Admission Test is required for interested and qualified individuals who want to enroll in any postgraduate program offered by Dibrugarh University.
These programs include Dibrugarh University's Master of Arts (MA), Master of Science (MSc), Master of Commerce (MCom), and Master of Education (M.Ed).

Eligibility Criteria
The following are the requirements for admission to different master's programs at Dibrugarh University:
Course # for Master of Arts (MA) A bachelor's degree with honors or a major in the relevant field and at least 45% of the possible points. OR
# A bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% in the topic for admission, or 45% overall for General Program candidates, or a grade point equivalent. After passing the CBCS qualifying exam, candidates must have completed at least 24 credits of coursework in the topic they are applying to.
Course # for Master of Science (MSc) A bachelor's degree with honors or a major in the relevant field and at least 45% of the possible points. OR
# A bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% in the relevant field is required.
Note:
Candidates who took the final semester exams and are awaiting their results are qualified to take the DUAT in 2026 and, if chosen, may be granted temporary admission.

Application Fee
The fee amount has not yet been revealed. Last year, candidates were required to pay an application cost of Rs. 1000/- (Rupees 1,000 only) using the online payment gateway using a debit (ATM) card, credit card, or internet banking while submitting the form. We don't accept any other payment methods.
