Pay Scale

₹60,000 – ₹1,80,000 per month during training period. After successful completion of training and probation, candidates will be appointed as Officers in E-1 Grade.

Eligibility Criteria of Coal India Limited 2026

Age Restrictions: As of April 30, 2026, candidates in the General (UR) and EWS categories must be at least 30 years old.

Age Relaxation: The following lists category-wise relaxation in the Upper Age Limit:

Three Years of OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)
SC/ST: Five Years
For Individuals with Disabilities:
General (UR): Ten Years
13 Years of OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)
SC/ST: 15 Years

Qualifications for Education:

Mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering: a degree in the appropriate field. at least 60% of the possible points.

System: Acknowledged first-class degrees in computer science, computer engineering, IT, BE, B.Tech, B.Sc. (Engg.), or any first-class degree with MCA.

Electronics & Communication (E&T): at least 60% in a relevant engineering discipline with a BE, B.tech, or B.Sc. (Engg).

System: Acknowledged first-class degrees in computer science, computer engineering, IT, BE, B.Tech, B.Sc. (Engg.), or any first-class degree with MCA.

Electronics & Communication (E&T): at least 60% in a relevant engineering discipline with a BE, B.tech, or B.Sc. (Engg).

Geology: a minimum of 60% on an M.Sc. or M.Tech. in geology, applied geology, geophysics, or applied geophysics.

Industrial Engineering: A degree in the applicable engineering specialty. at least 60% of the possible points.

Rajbhasha (Hindi): MA in Hindi with at least 60% of the possible points, and graduation with 50% of the possible points in Hindi and English as major courses.

Company Secretary: Obtain a Company Secretary qualification and become an Associate or Fellow member of ICSI after graduating from an accredited university or institute in any field.

Candidates with prior experience working in a listed Company.
